God used the tabernacle to illustrate a pattern as to how we as believers should enter His presence. The tabernacle, its elements, and the priestly garments have just as much of significance today as they did then. As we learn to properly position ourselves to hear from Him, we can have the confidence that He hears us and will answer. Though God chooses to answer according to His will, we should always keep in mind as we pray that we are seeking His counsel and will, not ours. To be an effective intercessor, we must be willing to give up what we want in order to do what pleases God, we must live and pray God’s word, and we must learn to reach that place so that we can focus on God and do His work.
